Business Experience

StemVital has its laboratory in Santander within the facilities of the new Institute of Biomedicine and Biotechnology of Cantabria (IBBTEC), in the vicinity of the Technological Science Park of the region. It is a joint center of joint ownership between the University of Cantabria (UC), the Center for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Regional Government (Sodercan). Opened in 2013, it offers its researchers and companies great and modern facilities and services, which is reflected in the product and final service offered to our customers.

As required by current legislation in this respect, StemVital has the facilities of a European Reference Biobank, Biosckin Molecular & Cell Therapies. Its facilities are specially designed for the cryopreservation of stem cells from blood and umbilical cord tissue, according to the international FACT standard. It complies with all safety regulations and has "clean rooms" to guarantee the quality and sterility of the final sample.
