About

VCANBIO operates the second largest family cord blood bank network in China. They own the cord blood licenses for Chongqing, Xi'an, Tianjin, and a stake in the Mongolia license. Their family bank brand was formerly known as Life Bank. Today in 2023, VCANBIO is owned by Zhongyuan Xiehe Gene Technology Co., Ltd, which also owns the Tianjin public cord blood bank.

Business Experience

Zhongyuan Xiehe Chongqing Cell Resource Bank (i.e. Chongqing Stem Cell Bank) was established by Zhongyuan Xiehe Cell Gene Engineering Co., Ltd. and the Affiliated Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. It is a stem cell resource bank that integrates stem cell storage, genetic testing, and research and development.
