Reviva Regenerative Medicine Center is an advanced all-in-one cell therapy center located in Lebanon in the Middle East Institute of Health Hospital, offering advanced umbilical cord banking services established according to international guidelines with a developed cGMP (current good manufacturing practice) platform. • The collection kit is sterile inside & outside for C-section use with 2 overwrap bags for sterile handling during the C-section
   

Transportation container

The kit contains 2 gel packs for thermal stability in order to maintain room temperature during transportation. A temperature logger is used for monitoring of good conditions and the container size and number of gel packs included are tested to guarantee room temperature stability during the whole transportation process.

Shipping Info

Since REVIVA is located in Lebanon, processing and cryopreservation are performed locally and therefore shipping is not required wthin Lebanon. A representative from REVIVA team will assist the mother during delivery in all hospitals in Lebanon to take care of the packaging and direct transportation to the center with service provided 24/7 all inclusive.

Processing Method

Automated cell separation using Sepax 2 from Biosafe.

Components Stored

• Parents are provided with a certificate describing test results (cell counts, viability, CD34+ Count).
• Final storage is the "Buffy coat" holding white cells and stem cells, a maternal blood sample, and 3 security tubes for testing.

Storage Method

• Final storage is in blood bags and cryovials
• Storage container is encased in over wrap
• Temporary storage in quarantine freezer, then move to long term freezer
• The freezer contains vapor phase of cryogenic nitrogen

REVIVA is working according to the regulations set by FACT-Netcord, the international regulatory organizations, and locally managed by the APAVE to ensure the compliance of our equipment, installations, and processes with the highest level of quality and patient safety standards.

Clinical Experience

REVIVA operates in collaboration with the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Sciences, as well as the Faculty of Medicine and the faculty of doctoral studies for Development of Research and Application, in order to exchange knowledge on clinical and research levels.
