Think that saving your baby's umbilical cord blood is a source of saving lives. If not stored for your own use, BancoVida's donation program "Give life through BancoVida" (REGALA VIDA) allows a gift of life to be offered to a patient in need.

BancoVida started in Puerto Rico, but found that the US FDA would not accept cord blood and placenta donations from Puerto Rico due to concerns about the Zika virus. Instead, BancoVida now recruits donations from hospitals in south Florida.
