Business Experience

Acıbadem has provided family cord blood stem cell storage since 2003. Later that year they began storing bone marrow stem cells harvested from peripheral blood. In 2010, the decision was made to include advanced cell therapy products in the services. This required laboratory upgrades which were approved by the Ministry of Health in January 2011. In March 2020, the FamiCord Group took a majority stake in the Acibadem cord blood bank, with the remainder owned by the Acıbadem Healthcare Group.
