Bedomaich Chayi ("the secret life") Cord Blood Bank is a public bank started in Israel in 2006 by a non-profit organization.  The bank also accepts "designated" donations that are saved like private units for a specific family member with a medical need. The founder of Bedomaich Chayi is Rabbi Joseph Eckstein, who previously founded Dor Yeshorim to promote genetic testing prior to marriage.
