BMDI Cord Blood Bank is one of three public cord blood banks in Australia, which form the AusCord network. The BMDI CBB has more than 10,000 cord blood units in its inventory and has released more than 400 cord blood units for unrelated stem cell transplants for treatment of malignant and non-malignant disease. The bank is licensed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT).
