OrganaBio is NOT a public cord blood bank, but they are included in this list because they are collecting cord blood donations at US hospitals.

OrganBio is a privately held company which works in donation procurement and contract manufacturing for cell therapy. OrganaBio collects cord blood and birth tissue donations on behalf of clients that need these raw materials to manufacture biological therapies. OrganaBio also prepares cellular products from donations of cord blood, cord tissue, and placenta, which are then sold to pharmaceutical companies that are developing cellular therapies. OrganaBio operates cGMP laboratories in both Miami, Florida and Irvine, California.

• For the donation of peripheral blood from adults, OrganaBio has a wholly owned subsidiary, HemaCenter.
• For the donation of cord blood and birth tissue from expectant moms, OrganBio has a wholly owned subsidiary, GaiaGift.

Their July 2024 corporate report says that OrganaBio is collecting in 5 Florida hospitals.
