GvHD

Graft versus Host Disease is a complication of transplants that can be life threatening. The patient is the Host and the transplant is the Graft. In GvHD the patient's body and the transplanted cells or tissue try to attack each other. The goal of cell therapy is to suppress their immune systems so they can live with each other.
