BabyCord Jordan was the first to provide cord blood and cord tissue banking not only in Jordan but in the Middle East, having received samples from Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the West Bank. BabyCord Jordan was established in 2005, and is the only cord blood bank that is FDA approved operating in Jordan. BabyCord Jordan operates under New England Cord Blood Bank (NECBB), established in 1995, a privately held family business that  is accredited by AABB  to store stem cells from umbilical cord blood and tissue at their state of the art facility just outside of Boston, MA, USA.
