Xytex Cryo International was founded in 1975 as a reproductive tissue bank by internationally renowned cryobiologist, Armand M. Karow, Jr., PhD, who was a scientist, researcher, and professor at the Medical College of Georgia (now called Georgia Health Sciences University).   Since then, Xytex has grown into an internationally recognized and respected cryobank.  Xytex Cord Blood Bank was launched in March 2008.
