Lifeforce Cryobanks was known as Cryobanks International prior to June 2010. Cryobanks Intl. was founded as a family bank in 1993 by businessman Dwight Brunoehler, who served as CEO until the company went public in 2008. In June of 2010 Cryobanks Intl. was sold at debtor's auction and renamed Lifeforce Cryobanks. The laboratory staff were retained and business has continued as usual.
Lifeforce Cryobanks both accepts mail-in donations and maintains traditional donation collection programs at selected hospitals in several states. As of Dec. 2011, their collection sites are:
